Once upon a time, it was easy to buy me presents. When asked “What do you want for your birthday/Christmas?” my answer was most often “A My Little Pony!” This resulted in my owning over fifty My Little Ponies in addition to the Stables, the Castle, the Beauty Salon, and Paradise Estates (thank you, Grandmom!).
Nowadays, if February is rapidly approaching, and someone says, “Amadei, what can I get you for your birthday?” I usually bluster for a while before waving my hands around saying “Whatever, whatever, you don’t need to get me anything, I’m fine, I’m fine…” because I can never think of what I want when put on the spot.
But there are those who don’t accept my protestations (cough, Dad, cough), here are my wishlists.
Note: I’m not picky; I’ll accept any reasonable approximation of any present; especially the pricier stuff, but it’s my WISHlist, not my GIMMElist (that one mostly contains chocolate and Jelly Belly beans).
